Seniors for Climate – Draw the Line Rally on September 20

Draw the Line global mobilization for climate action!

Rallies in over 50 communities across Canada

On Saturday September 20th, people around the world are Drawing the Line – see video

There are events and actions happening across Canada throughout the week leading up to, and on September 20.

Seniors for Climate and GASP are two of the many environmental groups across Canada supporting the Draw the Line campaign because …

• Wildfires are displacing communities and polluting the air. Smoke is deadly for those with heart and lung conditions – find out why

• Extreme heat is rising — a health risk for those without air conditioning.

• Storms, floods, and outages leave isolated or medically vulnerable at risk

• Insurance, food and housing costs are rising fast — especially in smaller communities.

We cannot solve the climate crisis in isolation. That’s why we are standing with others —  youth, workers, migrants, Indigenous leaders, and peace advocates — to demand a just future for all.

We care about future generations. We want to leave behind a livable world for our children and grandchildren.
